Teleperformance in Greece helps clean up their community

On Sunday, the 29th of October Teleperformance in Greece helped show how important it is to be Citizen of the Planet.

Parnitha Mountain in Attica has always been a major attraction for thousands of people thought the year. Unfortunately, some of these visitors aren’t as cautious as they should be. Trash has continued to be a problem in the area, and members of the Teleperformance in Greece team believed that they should do something about it.

On that Sunday, 82 TP people headed to the mountain to clean the area and return it to its natural state of beauty.

With litter bags, gloves, snacks and bottles of water for sustenance, the Teleperformance in Greece team spent more than 3 hours cleaning the site.

And indeed, there was a lot of work to be done. In all, the Teleperformance in Greece team gathered more than 120 bags of trash

Citizen of the Planet is a global corporate initiative, implemented in 2008, aimed at ensuring Teleperformance operates in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner.

In a combined effort we commit to help our planet by improving facilities to create “sustainable sites” (i.e., water, paper and other waste reductions) and strive for “paperless” environments, as well as recycling, and incentivizing energy and atmosphere improvements. Teleperformance encourages sites to continuously improve their impact on their local habitats, as well.

We thank our Teleperformance in Greece colleagues for the tremendous work that they undertook, helping clean up this local site. We know that everyone has a role to play in making a better world. To learn more about our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, click here.
