The World Connects on Social Media During the World Cup™

Of course, the entire world is still watching the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. There have been cheers and tears based on what’s happened on the field. And for some, there has been a lot to cheer for. For the fans of the losers, well, let’s just hope that they have been finding other ways to entertain themselves.

Here at Teleperformance, we’ve been continuing to follow the action on social media. Our teams from Praxidia and Teleperformance in Russia have combined to keep us all up to date on who the hottest brands and players. While we don’t yet know who is going to advance to the knockout rounds, we do know that there are already plenty of winners on social media.

Companies like Adidas™, Visa™, and Coca-Cola™ have been dominant on the social media stage, combining their on-screen efforts to create valuable buzz around their products and the top players in the tournament.

In addition, the top players in the tournament haven’t been ignoring their social media presence. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar have all found opportunities to keep their fans up to date with the insider information on what’s happening.
